Stop a Pennsylvania cigarette and tobacco tax hike!

You can help stop higher tobacco taxes.

Now is the time to speak out AGAIN!

Lawmakers in Harrisburg are still battling over the state budget and on Wednesday, October 7, they will vote on whether to increase taxes on cigarettes and impose a new tax on dip, cigars and e-vapor products. This would be detrimental to business owners.

THEY NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU BEFORE THEN!

Click here to email legislators today -- tell them to vote NO!

As you have probably heard, Governor Wolf wants to increase Pennsylvania’s cigarette tax by $1.00/pack and impose a NEW 40% tax on dip, cigars, and e-vapor products. We need to tell our lawmakers that raising the already high cigarette tax in Pennsylvania is bad for business and a bad idea.

Tell your legislators:

I am a business owner in your district. I employ your constituents and tobacco makes up a significant percent of my sales.
I oppose the Governor’s budget proposal and any attempt to increase our already high cigarette taxes or impose new taxes on other tobacco products.
• A cigarette tax hike will hurt my business by encouraging adult smokers to purchase their products from other sources, such as over the internet where taxes can be avoided.
Vote NO on new tobacco taxes!
